About Bendigo Medical
Bendigo Medical was established in the 1940s. The practice has grown into one of the largest in the region, with two fully integrated sites in Bridge Street in Bendigo and Howard Street in Epsom.
Our experienced team of doctors, nurses and administrative staff are committed to delivering the highest standard of primary care to the Bendigo region. We offer a comprehensive range of general medical and nursing services provided by experienced and caring professionals. We also provide a range of industrial, aviation and travel medicine.
Bendigo Medical is a fully accredited, modern medical practice. We utilise secure electronic file management and modern electronic methods of communication, including a smartphone booking app, online appointments and teleconferencing.
We operated from specialised facilities equipped with modern medical equipment and consulting suites. The clinics provide ample parking, wheelchair accessibility and comfortable waiting areas with free wi-fi. The Bridge Street clinic also offers on-site pathology collection and pharmacy.
Bendigo medical is a practice aiming to provide support to practitioners to practice professionally satisfying and good quality medicine.
Bendigo Medical Centre is owned by Family Doctor Pty Ltd. Our Associate doctors are stand alone sole proprietors of their own GP service.
Nursing support is integral to the practice model, particularly in regard to the Chronic Disease Management program, travel medicine, provision of general nursing care, managing the procedure rooms, and carrying out nursing procedures.
Practitioners are encouraged to develop special interests, with skin cancer medicine, minor surgery, travel medicine , and industrial medicine some of the areas well developed within the practice.
